Who is excited for the Coronation of King Charles III? 

For many of us (who were not born in the 50s) this will be the first coronation in living memory. 

I remember how my grandma used to talk about the late Queen's coronation as if it was yesterday. She would talk about how everyone lined the streets with tables and chairs having a mass street picnic.  I was excited when I heard the local independent businesses in Harrogate are planning their own street parties for tomorrow. 

The monarchy has always had a special place in Harrogate. After all our shopping Centre is named after Queen Victoria and four of our properties are located around Kings Road.
